Be a Geodetic Engineer.

When people ask us what is our course and we answer Geodetic Engineering, they would try to think what does that course mean? Does it really exist? What do they do? And some would just say “ah surveying, you’re measuring lands.”

Here you will know some things about our course.

Surveying or land surveying is the technique, profession, and science of determining the terrestrial or three-dimensional position of points and the distances and angles between them. A land surveying professional is called a land surveyor. These points are usually on the surface of the Earth, and they are often used to establish land mapsand boundaries for ownership, locations like building corners or the surface location of subsurface features, or other purposes required by government or civil law, such as property sales.
Geodesy also known as geodetics or geodetics engineering — a branch of applied mathematics [2] and earth sciences, is the scientific discipline that deals with the measurement and representation of theEarth, including its gravitational field, in a three-dimensional time-varying space. Geodesists also study geodynamical phenomena such as crustalmotion, tides, and polar motion. For this they design global and nationalcontrol networks, using space and terrestrial techniques while relying ondatums and coordinate systems.

Satellite geodesy is the measurement of the form and dimensions of the Earth, the location of objects on its surface and the figure of the Earth's gravity field by means of artificialsatellite techniques—geodesy by means of artificial satellites.

AutoCAD is a commercial software application for 2D and 3Dcomputer-aided design (CAD) and drafting — available since 1982 as a desktop application and since 2010 as a mobile web- and cloud-based app marketed as AutoCAD 360.
Developed and marketed by Autodesk, Inc.,[1] AutoCAD was first released in December 1982, running on microcomputerswith internal graphics controllers.[2] Prior to the introduction of AutoCAD, most commercial CAD programs ran on mainframe computers or minicomputers, with each CAD operator (user) working at a separate graphics terminal.[3]

Cartography is the study and practice of making maps. Combining science, aesthetics, and technique, cartography builds on the premise that reality can be modeled in ways that communicate spatial information effectively.

A geographic information system (GIS) is a system designed to capture, store, manipulate, analyze, manage, and present all types of spatial or geographical data.
